When, you’re flying up that maple neck Wonder when it catches on fire When you know you’ve heard it from the soul Raining down like sparklers in both hands Show us what is possible, when you never learn the rules Takes us to the centre of the groove, oh oh, to the centre, of the groove Find you soaring on a single note Held it high and held it long Find the air gets so thin up there Shredding for the thrill of it all Show us what is possible, when you never learn the rules Takes us to the centre of the groove, oh oh, to the centre, of the groove And walk up to the edge, look way down I get dizzy thinking about that deep raven Point to the river, miles below I’m not holding out my arms and trying to fly As he jumps up on the table and starts wailingto the centre, of the groove Show us what is possible, when you never learn the rules Takes us to the centre - of that molten core Leads us to temptation, deliver the news Takes us to the centre of the groove, oh oh, to the centre, of the groove

She loves to dance - way out on the sand Shes listening to some far away sound She loves to dance - close her eyes and run on the shore Sensing where she’s been before And there’s no way to describe, the place in her mind is Somewhere near Barcalona where she heard the slow samba Victim of the swing, slave of the rhythm, it’s Always there bubbling under, the sound of the slow samba Oh, she can’t resist - no no She loves to dance, a song from long ago It lingers and so unforgetable She’ll always dance – down that narrow lane Where she heard the ca-va-quin-o playing And there’s no way to describe, the place in her mind is Somewhere near Barcalona where she heard the slow samba Victim of the swing, slave of the rhythm, it’s Always there bubbling under, the sound of the slow samba Oh, she can’t resist oh Lantana, scilla hispanica, valencia, bougainvillea x2 There’s no way to describe, the place in her mind is . . . Oh, she can’t resist
