Born in Palmerston North, New Zealand. First guitar was a nylon string at 15 years and a steel string at 18. Lived in Notting Hill in London from 1987 to 1995 playing in cafés and bars as a duo of guitar and sax called the Vibe Tribe Trio. Returned to Auckland in 1996 to raise a family and worked in live sound production. Current focus is on songwriting and solo performance in bars and cafes.
